今年もルネ・ヤーコブの指揮するクリスマスオラトリオを。 

このクリスマスオラトリオ、

ベッリーニのイエス様とマリア様が印象的だったアルバムの表紙に引かれて

数年前に買ったアルバムです。

中の解説書にはたくさんのイエス様誕生にまつわる絵画が載っていて、
それらも素敵なので毎年眺めています。

Listening to Bach's Christmas Oratorio.
This music album was conducted by René Jacobs and I bought it a few years ago
because I liked the painting of the front cover of the album:
Giovanni Bellini's "Presentation at the Temple."

There are other beautiful paintings in the booklet to admire as well.
Taking out this album for Christmas season has come to be my kind of Christmassy tradition.
