今年はじめて、原毛や毛糸を扱うギルドのマーケットへ行ってきました。

手染めの毛糸を扱っているお店が多かったのですが、

手染めって思っていたよりもずっとカラフル。

北米らしい色合いが多く、とてもフェスティブな雰囲気でした。

（私の写真ではそうは見えないですが・・・）

毛糸ひとつ作るのにどんな行程があるのかなどを知ると、

物作りの面白さと難しさをさらに感じることができますね。

会場を何周もしてやっと、

地元で育てられたファイバーと毛糸をいくつか選びました。

　

It fascinates me the ways people produce certain things like yarn.

I enjoyed looking around and shopping at a fibre market and

bought some fibre and a few skeins of yarn grown (or made) locally.

I haven't told anyone except my mom and my husband, 

but I have a tiny dream of doing something related to this fibre world.

One day, maybe, I'll be able to tell you what that is all about.
