使う度にイングリッシュガーデンの中へ飛び込んでいけそうだなあと思い、

タッキーな感じとぽってりとした厚みが可愛い食器を２客分買いました。

（私のはティーカップとサラダプレート）

７０年ほど前のハンドペイントで、色の載せ方がひとつひとつ違っています。

昔、主人のおばあちゃまが使っていたような食器。

こんな雰囲気の食器には、パウンドケーキのような素朴なお菓子が似合うだろうな。

I fell in love with Spode's vintage hand-painted cups and plates at an antique shop.

They are a bit tacky, which I find very cute, and also very good in condition 

although they were made almost 70 years ago.

I think some simple baked goods would be great on them.

 I'm sure I will picture myself in a beautiful English garden every time I use them.
