広い農場の真ん中に佇む大きな木の下で、みんなそれぞれゴロゴロ。

お年寄りの木はたくさんの腕を大きく広げて陽を遮ってくれ、

目を閉じると風の音を聞くことが出来ました。

肌に当たる風や草や土の温度、木の幹のザラザラした感触。

蜂の羽音や、葉の間に注がれる空からの光。

大人の私たちと同じ空間にいながら、

赤ちゃんは一体何を思っているんだろう。

全身で新しいものを受け入れながら、

はじめて触れるものをどのように感じているんだろう。

What does she think about the roughness of the bark of a tree,

or the buzzes of a bee, or the temperatures of the wind, soil, grass...etc?

I wonder how our baby processes new sensuous information suddenly given to her.
