日本滞在中、駅やデパ地下でもいろんな人に可愛がってもらった娘。

あるとき電車を待っていたら、

若いご夫婦の奥さんが「私たちももうすぐなんですよ〜」と話しかけてくれて

娘をあやしてくれました。

電車が来るまでのちょっとの間だったけれど、

その彼女の笑顔がすごくキラキラしていて素敵だった。

あのとき彼女のおなかにいた赤ちゃんももう生まれているかな。

元気に生まれてるといいな。

While visiting my family in Japan back in May,
we chatted with a couple at a station, who were expecting a baby boy.
I remember the mom's shining smile when she was telling us about her baby
while she was amusing my daughter.
There were lots of expectations and love.
I wonder how the baby's doing now.
I hope he's doing well.
