子供の頃、好きな絵本がたくさんあったけれど、

その中の一冊の「うみをあげるよ」というお話を

ピクニックシートに使っているブランケットを見て思い出しました。

男の子の大切な青いタオルを海だと勘違いしてしまったカエル君たちのために、

そっとそのタオルをあげる優しいお話だったなあ。

The blue blanket I use for outdoors reminded me of a story I loved when I was small.

The story was about a boy who would give his blue handkerchief to two frogs,

who mistakingly believed that the handkerchief was an ocean 

because they had never seen an ocean before.
